The Human Proteomics Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking an energetic, creative and highly motivated postdoctoral trainee to develop and apply cutting-edge mass spectrometry technology to biomedical research. The overall mission of the Human Proteomics Program is to improve the health of the citizens through a program of research dedicated to understanding the basis for human health and disease, identifying potential molecular targets for the treatment of disease, and developing high-throughput assays for early detection of disease and the risk for disease. The successful candidate should have a PhD (or equivalent) in chemistry, biochemistry or related field. A strong background in modern mass spectrometry and separation sciences is highly desirable. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are essential.
